Hedgehog

Hello again.  One last one for tonight.

I really wanted to use the From The Heart monthly image.  It is just so cute.  I have a friend who has a pet hedgehog so I am going to send her the card as a surprise.

I originally printed the hedgie too big so I have some extra images.  I will do another card later. Or a candy box.  That would be cute.  Something to think about.

I used one of my texture folders on the white card.  I just don't like empty space on a card.

I am using it in the following challenges:
From the Heart - Mthly Progressive
Just Add Ink - Sketch #268
   Crafty Sentiments - Summer
Cupcake Inspiration - Green & White
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #66

Chat with you tomorrow.

Ice Cream

Hello.  I am late getting started today.  I cleaned most of the day.  I have been cleaning out drawers in my craft room.

I really wanted to make a card with the Imagine That monthly image.  I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, so I printed it big.  So the card turned into a basic card.  I like how it came out.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Imagine That - Progressive Mthly
   Reasonable Ribbon - Summer
Connie Can Crop - How I Roll
   Brown Sugar - Summer Fun
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
   Artistic Inspiration - Anything Goes

Chat with you later.

Apples

Hello again.  I didn't get my cards addressed.  My sister came home and wanted to make some thing.

We both love the trio cards on Silhouette Online.  There are so many of them.  They make such a clean card.  I added a ribbon at the bottom and some Winks of Stella shimmer.  I just love my shimmer, it is so easy to add a little shine.  And apples just need to be shiny.

I am using it for the following challenges:
   Creative Card Crew - CAS
   Paper Take Weekly - Trio
   Penny's - Anything Goes
Simon Says Wednesday - Anything Goes
   Wednesday's Inspiration - Favorite Product
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes

Off to see what else I can get into.  Chat with you later.

Patriotic

Hello and how is every one doing?   I am finally able to sit at my desk for a little while.

I made this several days ago and then I hurt my neck and I never posted it.  I just love it.  Patriotic cards are some of my favorites to make.  There doesn't have to be a holiday for me to use my red, white and blue.

The pattern came from the Silhouette Online store.  I was worried about cutting some of the die cuts but they all cut great.  Now I wish I had made a couple more.  Oh well, too late now.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
City Crafters - Red & Blue from the Photo
Loves Rubber Stamps - Die Cuts
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
   Crafty Gals - Anything Goes
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - Red, White & Blue
Pile It On - Flag Colors

I need to address some envelopes after this, so I don't know if I will be back.  If not, have a great evening.

Cut It Up

Hello.  It is Cut It Up time again.  I am late posting this, I am so sorry.  I pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve in my neck and I am having trouble sitting at my computer.

The theme this time around was easy but hard at the same time.  It is Stuck on you (remember you need something cut also).  You must use a sticker on your project.  I don't use stickers on my cards usually, so that was the hard part.  I knew I would use Doodlebug stickers.  I just love their set.   Paper, stickers, embellishments, everything matches and goes together.

Instead of making a card, I decided to make an extra page for my planner/scrapbook.  A friend and I started our planner/scrapbook in June.   I am using mine as more of a mini scrapbook.  Pictures from my walks, and flowerbed get added every week.  Then at least one dinner menu.  The weather.  Just boring every day things.  It has been so much fun to put the pages together.  I think I will be showing the pages on the main blog page (so keep a watch out for them.).

The second week in July, I am using an ice cream theme, so I made this cute little 'page'.  It will be so cute in there.

The challenge is being sponsored by Robin's Nest.  They will be giving a $20 gift certificate to the winner (If you use their product, you will get $30).

I  can't wait to see everyone's projects.  Make sure you go over to Cut It Up and enter the challenge.

Chat with you later hopefully.

Summertime again

Hello again.  I am so enjoying today.

Another great thing about summer is all of the wonderful flowers.  My flower bed needs some work right now, but I   love all the blooming flowers.   I feel like my roses started blooming early this year.  And I am not complaining.

I feel like I have been doing alot of papercrafting with little or no images.  So today, I went into my Di's Digital folder.  I found this adorable little bear with one of my favorite flowers (daisies).  I used pink again.  I have been using it a lot lately.

I am going to use it on the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Sketch #305
   Sugar Pea - Color Challenge
Paper Take Weekly - Oh So Pretty
   In The Pink - Summer
   Paper Shelter - Digital
   Penny's Challenges - Anything Goes #232

I need to go work on dinner.  I will be back later.

Best of the Summer

Hello and Happy Father's Day.  I hope all the Dads out there have an amazing day.  My husband and I are just relaxing around the house.  Our son isn't home but I am sure he will call later today.

One of the best things about summer is all of the fresh fruits and vegetables.  I just love going to the farmer's market and getting every thing fresh.  Strawberries are just finishing their season, here in Michigan.  I have put up quite a bit.  And they should last unless my son comes home more than normal.  He loves reaching into the freezer and pulling out a container of frozen berries.  Every time he comes home, he leaves 4-5 empty containers.  It is his favorite late night snack.

My sister has her kitchen decorated in strawberries so I knew we would be making this cute basket.  It came out so adorable.  I added more strawberries.  I wanted to make sure it looked full.  All of them are textured with polka dots.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Di's Digital - Summer
   A Gem of a Challenge - Summertime
   Digital Sweet Challenge - Strawberries

I will be back later.  Chat with you then.

Father's Day

Hello.  I hope everyone had a great Saturday.

I have one more Father's Day card.  It isn't the one I had meant to make but I got this pattern from My Scrap Chick and I really wanted to make a card with it.  I thought it would make a great easel card.  My husband is going to love it.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
   2 Cute Ink - Father's Day
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
   Wednesday's Inspiration - Male
Paper Creator Crafts - Anything Goes
   PINspirational - Father
Tuesday Throwdown - Mr. Fix It

I don't know if I will be back or not.  Chat with you later.

Another One

Hello again.

I told you I loved these.  They are just so cute.  When it came time to mail out my Father's Day cards, I didn't have one for my Father-in-Law.   Recently, my in-laws have found a new place to park their RV, so they have a new home (sort of ).  Plus I know my father-in-law likes sitting outside and watching the birds so these could be birdhouses.  I hope it follows my logic.  Even if he doesn't, I know he will enjoy getting the card.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Dream Valley - Father's Day
Pile It On - Home or House
Crafting Desert Divas - Father's Day
   Die Cutting Divas - Masculine
Digi Sketch - For The Men
   Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Anything Goes
   Loves Rubber Stamps - Masculine
Through The Craftrm Door - Anything Goes

I have at least one more of these, but I haven't made it yet.  But I will get it done before Sunday (yes, it is another Father's Day card).

Be back later.  I still have two more cards to show you.

Summertime

Hello and how are all of you?  I have been busy the last few days, enjoying the outdoors.  We have gotten so much rain that my flowerbeds needed weeding bad.  Plus I cleaned off both of my patio areas.  I have just about finished the flower beds.  Hopefully by Sunday night, I will be finished.

I have made a few cards over the last few days and I haven't posted them.  Sorry about that.  I really should have taken the time.

The first one is the cute flip flop card from the Silhouette Online store.  I just love these cards.  You will be seeing more of them.  I have several friends that are just going to love it because they love flip flops as much as I do.  I used three different embossing folders on the flip flops.  Then added a couple of gems and a Summer Fun sentiment.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
   Jo's Scrap Shack - Friendship
Craft Your Passion - Anything  Goes #266
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #64
   Crafty Creations - Embossing
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
   Inky Impressions - Summertime
   Curtain Call - Flip Flops

I will back soon with another one.

Butterflies

Hello.  How are all of you?  My sister and I decided to have a morning session instead of an evening session of playtime.  I will show you my card later.  After we finished the card, my sister went off to do a few household chores.  I was going to do the same.  But I wanted to make a card for a few challenges, so here I sit.

I thought I had made this card but I can't find a picture of it if I did.  I like the cut out area on the edge and you still have room to do somthing against the fold.  I added the ribbon and bow.  It is hard to tell from the picture but I used core-dinations' gemstone paper so it has a shimmer to it.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Crafty Gals - The Great Outdoors
Inky Impressions - Something In The Air
   Wednesday's Inspiration - Button & Bows
   Addicted to CAS - Butterfly
   Cupcake Inspiration - Color Inspiration
   Wags N Whiskers - CAS
3 Girls Jam - Anything Goes

Well I am off to fold some clothes.  Be back in a little while.

Red White & Blue

Hello again.  One more for tonight.

I really want to get my 4th of July decorations out tomorrow.  I have a table by my front door and I always decorate it.  If I get it done this week, I will get to enjoy it longer.  So that is the goal.  We will see if I make it.

Thinking about it, I decided to make something patriotic.  I found this cute little girl that I bought from the Silhouette store.  She is by Stinkin Cute and  she was easy to put together.  I am not sure about her hair but it worked.

I don't usually use a lot of washi tape but lately, it has been one of my favorites.  Instead of ribbon.  So that is what I used on the sides of the card.

I am going to use her in the following challenges:
   Penny's - Favorite Embellishments
Hiding In My Craft Room - Scraps
   Sketch Saturday - Sketch #365
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
   Scribble N Scrap - Anything Goes #46

This will be it for tonight.  Chat with you tomorrow.

CASology

Hello.  Happy Monday.

I made this card and then forgot to post it.  I hope I get it posted in time.

Graduation parties are still happening in my next of the woods.  I should be finished this weekend, I think.  I may have one in July, I can't remember.

I decided to keep this one simple and not add anything to it.  I was going to use the school colors, but I really like the black and gray.  It is a very elegant looking card.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   CASology - Graduation
   Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Anything Goes
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
   Suzy Bee's - Anything Goes and/or Male

I will definitely be back later.  Have a great day.

Whimsie Doodles

Hello.  Just a quick note.

I knew when I saw the For A Man theme at Whimsie Doodles that I was going to use Mr. FixIt.  He is just too cute and perfect for my husband and my Dad.

It is hard to see  but the background paper has Dad and Father all over it.  I added the to stripes and a button with twine.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Whimsie Doodles - For A Man
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
   Marker Pop - Anything Goes
Pile It On - For A Man
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
Crafty Sentiments - For a Man

I am off to clean my craft table. I  might chat with you later, I just don't know

Cut It Up Challenges

Good morning.  I hope everyone is ready for the weekend.  I am heading into Toledo, Ohio with a friend tomorrow morning.  We are going to hit a couple of the craft stores and just have a good morning.

Today however, it is time for another Cut It Up challenge.  I am late posting it.  My internet has been acting up and every thing is slow.  Hopefully some one will figure out the problem soon.

The theme, this time, is a fun one.  Stars and Stripes.  As my regular visitors know this is a favorite for me.  I just love making patriotic cards.  I had several cards in mind but this is what I made.  I hope every one  enjoys it.

I pulled out my Top Note die from Stampin' Up.  I haven't used it in a while and thought it was time.  At one time, it was my favorite die to use.  I also used my textured folder from Stampin' Up.  The sentiment is from Craftin' Desert Divas.

I hope to see you over at Cut It Up.  The sponsor is Cute As A Button.

Have a great weekend.

Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello.  Last one for the night.

I have the card made.  I just need to clean up the mess.  And it will be cleaned up.

When I sat down to work on the challenge, I went to my KaDoodle Bug folder.  I just love their cutting files.  Plus I have so many, I can always find some thing to cut.  With Father's Day right around the corner, I thought I would make a card for my husband.  My husband works construction so the Tool Time Bears were perfect.

I am using it for the following challenges:

   Die Cuttin' Divas - Sketch
Inky Impressions - For A Man
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
   Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
   Fab N Funky - Checker
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes #36
   Penny's Challenges - Anything Goes
   Simon Says Wednesday - Masculine

Have a great night.

Just chatting

Hello.  Back again.  Just thought I would show you what I had been up to today.  I really wanted to go into summer vacation with the house clean.  I didn't quite make it but I am close.  Hopefully, I will finish it tomorrow.

As I said earlier, my craft room is clean.  I have some summer projects but most of them are clean out and reorganizing.  Plus I want to work on a project life album.

In cleaning, I was shocked how many stamps I had that needed to be cleaned before I could put them away.  I am proud to say they are all done now.  My plate needs scrubbing.  I guess I need to put that on my to do list.

A couple of weeks ago, I accidentally dropped my container with all of my cut shapes.  I finally got all of them picked up.  Now I just need to organize them again.  I am going to work on that tomorrow.

Finally, here is my clean table before I start on my last project for the night.  I am working on a card for the Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge.  I have all of the pieces cut out.  I just need to put it together.  Here it is, can you tell what it is?

A friend of mine gave me some of these clear trays.  They are just perfect for putting cutting projects in.  No more looking to see where pieces have gotten off to.

Well I am off to finish the project and then I want to read a little while before heading to bed.  Be back soon.

Summertime Butterfly

Hello.  I have spent most of the day deep cleaning.  I still have a few more rooms to go but since my craft room was clean, I decided to take a short break and make something.  I am going to put away all of the scraps when I finish this post so it will still be clean.

I wanted to make a card for the Craftin' Desert Divas challenge.  I have a couple of their stamps sets that I have had a chance to use so I decided to use the Just Bugcause set.  Butterflies are summery, right? I didn't know what color to use but I decided on yellow and orange.  These are my favorite colors.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
   Craftin Desert Divas - Summer
Sugar Pea Designs - Sketch #25
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
Digi Sketch Challenge - Favorite Color Combo
Clear It Out - Anything Goes
Loves Rubber Stamps - Anything Goes
Paper Take Weekly - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes

I hopefully will be back later.

CAS

Hello.  I hope every one is ready for the weekend.  I sure am.  I am working my second job tomorrow, but it shouldn't be too bad and I will still be able to enjoy the afternoon and evening.

It has been a long time since I have any CAS cards, but lately I have done several.  I do like the clean look.  The little elephant is by Bugaboo.  I just adore their elephants.  I used my Silhouette to cut the balloon out.  It just makes it so easy to 3D some thing.

In order to meet the recipe at Bugaboo, I also used one of my small dies to cut a white balloon.  Then I colored it with my copics so it would match the one on the image.  There are small gems under the happy birthday.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Addiced to CAS - Animals
   Catch The Bug - Recipe
Crafting When You Can - Bling It On
   Dream Valley - Anything Goes
   Glitter N Sparkle - Animals
Scribble N Scrap - Anything Goes

Have a great night.
